Upshot PX Sherry Cask undergoes maturation in barrels acquired from MyattsField winery, widely recognized for their production of premium fortified wines. These barrels have previously held Pedro Ximenez and Muscat, adding depth and complexity to the final product.
The result is a bold, delicious blend of sweet syrup, raisins, dark fruits, chocolate, and hints of vanilla notes. Infused in a creamy texture.
Nose - Raisins, raspberries, cranberries and black pepper.
Palate - Sweet syrup, sultanas, dark fruits, chocolate, and hints of vanilla.
Finish - Creamy, rich dark honey and cherries.
