Ryuka Early Summer 2026 Japanese Single Malt Whisky 700ml (ABV 58%)

From the emerging whisky region of Okinawa comes Ryuka Early Summer 2026, a cask-strength Japanese single malt crafted by Shinzato Distillery. Produced in Okinawa's subtropical climate, where warm temperatures and high humidity accelerate maturation, this limited release delivers remarkable intensity and complexity at 58% ABV. The distillery has already earned international recognition, including IWSC Gold for its Ryuka Single Malt, establishing Ryuka as one of Japan's most exciting new whisky names.

Produced in-house at Shinzato Distillery, Okinawa (using British malted barley).

Matured in Refill Oloroso Sherry Awamori cask and Spanish Virgin oak cask. Due to storage in Okinawa's subtropical climate, results in the creation of spirits with strong cask influence through short-term maturation. Distilled in March 2023, bottled April 2026.

Tasting Notes - Mellow aromas of cinnamon and sweet azuki paste with toffee, a touch of fresh honeydew melon. A creamy mouthfeel leading to a smooth, long finish of dense caramel syrup.
