A limited release of Double Distillery, Kanosuke’s finest expression.

Double Distillery brings together the best of Kanosuke and Hioki distilleries and their range of new make whiskies and cask types. 
Hioki's pot still whisky is specially matured in re-charred ex-shochu casks, as is usual for Kanosuke's single malt in this blend.

The single malt in this blend is matured in ex-sherry casks, then re-charred ex-shochu casks. The final touch is a small amount of whisky matured in rum casks.
The whiskies are masterfully blended, and the result is a mellow richness that unfolds in layers, elegantly wrapped in warming Japanese spice.

Nose - Dried apricot, plum jam, canelé, custard cream, Japanese cinnamon.

Palate - Ripe pear, grated apple, white peach, raisin, ginger, crème brûlée.

Finish - Salted caramel, gentle aftertaste of lingering oak.
