Hellyers Road 20YO Voyager Cask Single Malt Whisky 700ml (ABV 54%)

The name Voyager is apt for this special cask release. Crafted at the Distillery on Tasmania’s northwest coast, this single malt was distilled and filled into American Oak ex-Bourbon casks where it matured for 16 years. Secondary maturation in a single French Oak ex-Pinot Noir cask for 4years.

Nose - A delightful bouquet of creamy vanilla and toasted coconut dances with zesty lemon oil and the nostalgic sweetness of orange jubes. A whisper of aniseed adds intrigue, harmonising beautifully with the rich, indulgent aromas of milk chocolate fudge.

Palate - The journey begins with the smooth warmth of malt sticks and golden leatherwood honey, giving way to vibrant peach iced tea and a delicate floral medley of orange blossom and rose. A subtle spark of chilli and ginger builds, leading into a bright, citrus symphony of lemon oil and ripe tangerine.

Finish - The finish lingers with a refreshing burst of lemon oil and mint, leaving the palate cleansed and uplifted, with a tantalizing freshness that endures.
