Highland Park 40YO Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml (ABV 43%)

This Single Malt matured for almost 40 years in refill sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads, and another 7 months in first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.

Tasting notes - Ripe black cherries, dark chocolate and a hint of crushed oregano on the nose, followed by warm fruit and spice on the palate, from sweet, dried apricots to stem ginger and cloves, with intriguing hints of fresh eucalyptus and mint leaves. A spicy and complex finish, with lingering notes of cloves and mint, wrapped in fragrant smoke from the Orkney heathered peat.
