Matured for 20 years in ex-Bourbon American oak casks before finishing in ex-Oloroso 40 year old Sherry butt for a more complex flavor profile.
Nose - A delicate ensemble of biscotti, caramel and almond nuttiness present with subtle, ripe peach, marmalade and oak hints.
Palate - Beautifully balanced biscotti tones again present in duet with ginger snap flavours. Cherry and raisin bread nuances follow before surrendering to a lively chilli chocolate spice that lingers with intent.
Finish - A chocolate disguise unveils warming spices that draw length and life to this expression.
