El Dorado High Ester Blend – Offers a much higher level of esters than a traditional rum. PM/ DHE is a blend of 10 year old Demerara rum from two historic stills: Port Mourant (PM) double wooden pot still and Diamond High Ester (DHE) double retort copper pot still. Aged for 10 years in second-fill Bourbon barrels.
Tasting notes - Aromas of tropical fruit esters, ripe banana and subtle notes of clove and oak. Expect layers of toffee, dark chocolate, spice, ripe tropical fruit and hints of leather and tobacco on the palate. A long and warming finish with lingering notes of fruit and oak.
