Bozal Tepeztate 750ml (ABV 45%)

Bozal present mezcales from different Maestros Mezcaleros of remote villages of Oaxaca, Guerrero and Durango. These varietals produce flavors that are exotically intense, with rich earth tones and savory smokiness.

Tepeztate agave has a very distinct, erratic leaf structure and flourishes best on the sides of steep, rocky cliffs. Tepeztate produces beautiful quiotes at the end of life which flower a rich yellow before turning to seed. This agave offers a powerful, unique aroma dominated by floral characteristics.

Tasting notes - Powerful aromas greet the nose with tropical fruits, fresh berries, and a sweet hint of flan. The mouth is tropical as well, with flavors of papaya complemented by a touch of green pepper leading to a long, mineral forward finish.
