Ryuka New Born 2026 offers whisky enthusiasts a rare opportunity to experience the spirit in its formative years. Bottled at a robust 58% ABV, it showcases the distillery's character before extended maturation. Previous Ryuka New Born expressions have already received international recognition at the IWSC, demonstrating the exceptional quality of Shinzato Distillery's spirit from an early age.

Produced in-house at Shinzato Distillery, Okinawa (using British malted barley).

Matured in 1st fill (Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon) Spanish Virgin oak casks. Due to storage in Okinawa's subtropical climate, results in the creation of spirits with strong cask influence through short-term maturation. Distilled in November 2024, bottled May 2026.

Tasting Notes - Refreshing aroma of Nikkei bark, grassy undertones, a touch of fresh green apple. An oily mouthfeel with zesty orange peel leading to woody sweetness, cool finish of oriental spices.
