Gordon & Macphail's Private Collection range features a truly exceptional and unique collection of greatly aged single malts from a mixture of celebrated, little-known and now closed distilleries across Scotland. Personally selected by members of the Urquhart family, each release is a unique and exquisite chapter in Scotland's whisky history.

Matured in refill American hogshead cask. Distilled in 1980, bottled in 2020.

Nose - Aroma Sweet pineapple and baked apple aromas are complemented by hints of beeswax polish. Soft cane sugar comes to the fore alongside white chocolate and vanilla pod.

Palate - Taste Soft black pepper and cocoa powder flavours lead to sweet, dried mango. Subtle notes of candied lime and mouth-warming ginger transform into fresh banana bread.

Finish - Finish Long lasting and vibrant with lingering fruit and soft pepper on the finish.
